As someone who has worn glasses most of my life and dreamed of improved vision for years, I can tell you that choosing Dr. Garrana and Advanced Lasik to facilitate my vision correction was by far the wisest decision. Dr. Garrana is both calming and uplifting and brings so much compassion and kindness to the work she does. She was there every step of the way with me, even personally assisting me with issues that arose with the finacing proccess. These issues were fully resolved, and my surgery was booked for less than one week from when I had my inperson consulation. The procedure only took approximately 10 min including the insertion of temporary tear ducts being inserted. People often say this type of surgery is painless; however, I want to be transparent and say that there was some brief moderate pain during the procedure and some moderate discomfort the day of the procedure. I respect that Dr. Garrana does not push sedatives and rather grants her approval for you to take something for anxiety if you have a prescription. This approach resulted in me not needing anything for anxiety and being just fine. The surgical technician who works with Dr. Garrana couldn't have been any kinder. She was calm and complimented Dr. Garrana's energy, providing me with an incredible patient experience. The best part of this experience is my new vision, which went from 20/2600 to 20/15 in both eyes less than 24 hours post-surgery. I could see buildings in New Jersey from the bus heading into Brooklyn, I could make out an ambulance across the river from the fdr by the pattern of its flashing lights alone. I can now see etching and body characteristics on the altar at church from the pew, and made out earrings on someone that I never noticed before. As I told Dr. Garrana, she is an mircale maker, and I can not thank her enough.

Dr. Randa Garrana is simply exceptional! From the very beginning, she took the time to explain every detail of the LASIK procedure, ensuring I felt completely comfortable and informed. She was able to schedule my procedure the following week, and throughout every step, she made sure I knew exactly what to expect. I started with astigmatism and nearsightedness, and immediately after the procedure, I had 20/15 vision! The results have been truly life-changing. I could not recommend Dr. Garrana more highly—her expertise, professionalism, and care are unmatched!

I absolutely loved working with Dr. Garrana - she was incredibly personable and made me feel confident every step of the way. She answered every question I had, and set me up with a no-interest financing plan to pay for the procedure. Plus, I have 20/15 vision now! Dr. Garrana is fantastic ! She gave very clear and thoughtful instructions for pre and post surgery. she is very responsive even outside of office hours. I Would highly recommend if anyone wants to get lasik surgery.

I had a fantastic LASIK experience with Dr. Garrana. She is very knowledgeable and really takes time for her patients. On the day of the surgery everything was perfectly organized and throughout the process I felt I was in very good hands. Very happy with my vision!

Dr. Garrana was so friendly, and made me feel so safe during the procedure. Lasik was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself, and wouldn’t recommend you go to just anybody. If you’re going to get it done, go to Dr. Garrana.

I came into Dr Garrana’s office with a really high prescription, horrible astigmatism, and damaged corneas. After the surgery, I ended up with 20/20 vision and it was the best money I ever spent in my life. Also, she’s a really down to earth, smart, sweet person so I was 100% confident and relaxed during the whole experience. 5 stars.
